The five-course dinner menu follows a traditional hotel fine dining structure with a soup, starter, traditional, mains served with veg and starch, and dessert followed by tea or coffee.

Boats are available from Breede River Houseboat Hire. The boats can be taken up to 30km towards the river mouth and 15km upstream to various fishing hot spots. A quick practical exam can be done before hiring a boat and a temporary license will be issued. A skipper license is therefore not required.
