NOTICE TO ALL BARRYDALE LEIWATER USERS
Although leiwater is being delivered this week, from the week commencing 28 November 2022 the municipality will be alternating the delivery of Leiwater to every alternate week. This is due to under-average rainfall and the dam being below optimum levels. The municipality has therefore resorted to commencing conservation initiatives as a preventative measure. Should the increased rainfall however resume, and dam reserves improve, the municipality will re-look at reverting back to weekly delivery.
NEW DELIVERY SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Weeks commencing;
21 Nov: wet week (i.e. leiwater delivered)
28 Nov: dry week (i.e. no leiwater delivered)
05 Dec: wet week
12 Dec: dry week
19 Dec: wet week
26 Dec: dry week
Residents are advised to please diarise these dates. Any date changes will be timeously communicated.
